Cabbage

Cheesy:
3 cups shredded cabbage
1/2 cup boiling water
1 tsp salt
1/4 cup light cream
1/2 cup grated processed cheese

Cook cabbage in boiling salted water until tender, about 6-9 minutes. Drain. Add cream and cheese. Place over low heat; stir until cheese melts and coats cabbage. 4 servings


Five Minute:
1 1/4 cup milk
8 cups finely shredded cabbage
2 T flour
1/4 cup milk
2 T butter
1 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper

Heat 1 1/4 cup milk over med heat, add cabbage, cover and simmer 2 min. Blend together flour and 1/4 cup milk. Add to cabbage with butter, salt and pepper. Stir until mixture comes to a boil and is thickened. Cover and continue cooking over low heat 2 minutes. Stir. 6 servings
