Steak and Potato Soup

1 lb beef round or stew meat
2 large potatoes, cut in 1"cubes(1 lb)
2 medium stalks of celery, chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
1 cloves garlic, finely chopped
2 tsp worcestershire
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
2 (14-1/2oz) cans beef broth
1/2 cup water, mixed with 1/4 cup all-purpose flour

Stove top: Brown meat in oil in dutch oven, add onion, celery and garlic for last few minutes. Add broth, worcestershire, salt and pepper. Cover and simmer 2 hours. Add potatoes, continue cooking for 30 minutes. Stir is flour mixture, cook until thickened.

Crock pot: Mix all ingredients except water and flour in 5 quart Crock Pot. Cover and cook on low heat setting 8 or 9 hours untill meat and vegetables are tender. Gradually stir flour mixture into soup untill blended. Cover and cook on high setting about 30 minutes or till slightly thickened.
