Steak Sauce

3/4 cup balsamic vinegar
1/2 cup ketchup
1/4 cup honey
1 large shallot, sliced
4 dried allspice berries
2 T worcestershire
1 T dijon mustard

1 T butter
salt, pepper, sugar to taste

Combine balsamic, ketchup, honey, shallot, allspice, worcestershire, and dijon in saucepan, cook, stirring occasionally for 15 minutes or until slightly thickened.
Strain and stir in butter, taste for seasoning and add salt, pepper, and sugar as needed.
