Gravy - no pan drippings

1 T oil
4 T flour
2 cups broth
salt to taste

Combine 1 T oil with 2 T flour to make a roux. Heat over low heat until dark brown in color.
Add remaining ingredients, increase heat to medium.
Cook and whisk until gravy comes to a boil. Cook for 1 minute or until gravy is thickened.
