Chili Sauce updated 1/8/22
Chili powders can vary greatly in spiciness and saltiness, so adjust ingredients as necessary.

1 pound lean ground beef
1 (8oz) can tomato sauce
1 (8oz) can beef broth or water
1/4 - 1/2 cup chili powder, to taste
1 T paprika
1/2 tsp salt, or to taste
opt: 1/4 each onion powder and garlic powder
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper, or to taste

Combine raw beef with tomato sauce and water in a pan, let soak for 1 hour, stirring occasionally. This ensures that the chili sauce will have a fine consistency, not too chunky.
Stir in remaining ingredients.
Simmer partially covered for 1-2 hours, or until desired consistency, removing lid if necessary.
