Broccoli Salad

8 cups broccoli (1 inch florets)
6 slices bacon, fried, crumbled
1 cup cheddar, grated or diced
1/4 cup red onion, diced
1/2 cup dried cranberries or raisins
1/2 cup chopped nuts or sunflower seeds
optional: chopped apple, matchstick carrots

Dressing:
1 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup sugar
2 T vinegar
pinch salt

Combine dressing ingredients.
Add broccoli, stir to coat.
Add remaining salad ingredients, mix to combine
