Pan Seared Oven Roasted Pork Tenderloin

1 or 2 pork tenderloins (12 oz each), trimmed of fat and other skin
salt, pepper, oil

Coat tenderloins lightly with oil. Season with salt and pepper at least 30 minutes before cooking.
Preheat oven to 400.
Heat cast iron skillet over med-high heat. Sear pork on all sides until browned, about 1-1 1/2 minutes on each side.
Transfer pork in skillet to oven, roast until internal temperature reaches 135-140 (about 15 minutes)
Place tenderloins on a cutting board and tent loosely with foil. Rest the meat for about 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, make gravy or sauce in using browned bits in skillet.
