Clafouti
Source: Carol (found on Jayne from A Grain of Salt, from Lanier Publishing)

3 eggs
1 1/4 cups milk
2/3 cup flour
1/3 cup sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups raspberries (Carol used blueberries .... Cindy used apples and cinnamon) the traditional is sweet cherries

Beat the eggs in the small bowl of an electric mixer until foamy.
Add the remaining ingredients except the raspberries. Beat on low speed until smooth.
Pour the batter into a buttered 9-inch pie plate. Sprinkle the berries on top.
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
