Creamy Noodles - one pot

6 oz noodles, uncooked
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup butter
1 1/2 cup water*
1 tsp chicken bouillon*
1 tsp dried parsley
*can sub unsalted homemade chicken broth plus 1/2 tsp salt

Combine all ingredients in sauce pan. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
Reduce heat to a simmer, and stir frequently until noodles are cooked and sauce is reduced.
The noodles should still be 'al dente', as they will cook more while standing.
Cover and let stand for about 5 minutes. Can add more butter at this point if needed.
