Extra Creamy Oatmeal

3 cups water
pinch of salt
1 cup old fashioned oats
1 cup milk
Bring water to a boil, add pinch of salt. Stir the oats in gradually.
Bring back to a boil, reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add milk, cover and simmer for an additional 10 minutes, stirring often.
Garnish with choice of butter and brown sugar, honey, maple syrup, dried or fresh fruit
