Macadamia White Chocolate Blondies
2 1/4 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 1/2 cups packed light brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup chopped macadamia nuts
1 cup white chocolate chips
Opt: dried cranberries
Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt, set aside.
Beat together the butter and sugar until light and creamy, then beat in the eggs and vanilla.
Stir in the flour mixture. With a wooden spoon, stir in the macadamia nuts and white chocolate chips (and opt. dried cranberries) until evenly distributed.
Spread into greased 9x13 baking dish.
Bake at 350 until the edges are browned, about 35 minutes. Let cool in pan, cut into squares.
