Krispy Caramel Bites

3 T water
14 oz. caramels
6 cups Rice Krispies
1 cup salted peanuts
12 chocolate chips (choice of milk or semi-sweet or combo)
Melt caramels and water - in microwave heat on high for 2-3 minutes, checking and stirring after every 30 seconds.
Mix in Rice Krispies and peanuts, coat well.
Press into jelly roll pan (15x11) that has been lined with foil and sprayed with cooking spray. Cover top with chips and bake in 200 oven for 5 minutes to soften.
Spread chips to smoothly cover top.
When cool, pull out of pan by holding edges of foil, cut into bars or bites on cutting board.
