Angel Cookies

Cream together:
1 cup unsalted butter
2/3 cup sugar
Beat in:
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
Stir in:
2 1/2 cups sifted flour
Mix until ingredients are well-blended. 

Angel Frosting:
3/4 cup sifted powdered sugar
1 T butter
1 T milk
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp lemon juice.
Melt butter. Combine all ingredients, beat until smooth.
Yields 1/3 cup

Chill dough 3 to 4 hours before rolling. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Roll out (to 1/4") and cut.
Bake for about 8 to 10 minutes, or until barely colored.
Can be frosted and decorated or eaten just plain.
