Chicken Shish Kabob

2 garlic cloves, pressed
1/2 cup olive oil
1/4 cup cider vinegar
1 T chopped fresh oregano or 1/2 tsp dried
2 tsp chopped fresh basil or 1 tsp dried
1/2 teaspoon salt, more or less to taste
1/4 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
1-1/2 lb. skinless, boneless chicken breast cut into 1" pieces

Choose from vegies:
onions, cut in 1" pieces
mushrooms (leave whole if small, cut in half if large)
green pepper cut into 1" squares
zucchini cut into 1" pieces
cherry tomatoes

Combine the marinade ingredients, pour over chicken and marinate for 30-60 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Thread chicken and alternate with choice of vegies on skewers, pour any remaining marinade over skewers.
Grill over medium direct heat until done.
