BBQ Chicken Meatballs

1 egg, beaten
1 tsp olive oil
1/4 cup plain breadcrumbs
1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
1 small clove garlic, minced
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 lb ground chicken

1 cup barbecue sauce

Combine egg, olive oil, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, salt and pepper. Add the ground chicken and mix just until combined. Form into 1 to 1 1/2 inch meatballs.
Heat 1 T oil over medium heat in large pan. Add meatballs and brown on all sides. Remove and set aside.
In same pan, pour in the BBQ sauce and bring to a boil, scraping up browned bits from the bottom of the pan. Return meatballs to pan and stir to coat.
