Dinner Rolls

1 cup milk
3 T butter, softened
3 T sugar
1 teaspoon salt
2 tsp instant yeast
1 egg, lightly beaten
3 cups flour

Butter, melted

In small saucepan, heat milk, 3 T butter, sugar and salt until butter is melted. Let cool to lukewarm. Add yeast.
Add milk mixture and egg to flour, mix until combined, knead briefly to bring dough together.
Cover and let rise 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
Divide dough into 12 equal sections, roll into balls and drop each into cup of sprayed 12 cup muffin tin.
Or roll sections into smooth balls, place side by side in sprayed 13x9 pan.
Or divide each of 12 sections into 3 balls. Drop 3 balls into each cup of sprayed 12 muffin tin.
Cover and let rise until doubled, about 1 hour.
Bake at 375 for 12 to 14 minutes, until golden. Brush with melted butter.
