Baked Honey Granola

2 cups rolled oats, uncooked
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
Pinch salt
1/3 cup sliced almonds
1/4 cup honey
4 T (1/2 stick) butter
opt: 1/2 cup raisins or other dried fruit

In a large bowl, combine oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, salt and almonds.

In a saucepan over low heat, melt butter, add honey and stir to blend. Pour over the oat mixture and stir until evenly moistened. Spread on a baking sheet.

Bake at 325 until golden and crunchy, stirring once, anywhere from 15 to 25 minutes, depending on pan. Cool to room temp, stir in raisins.

Serve with yogurt and the season's best fruits. Stored in an airtight container, the granola will keep up to 10 days. Makes about 3 cups.
